Is the Datagrip™ Right for You?

Deciding on and buying the right portable iPad or tablet holder for the first time seemed impossible due to the challenges faced during the buying process, not to mention it felt too much like a trick question.

The Datagrip™ team doesn’t believe that you have to choose a feature to get rid of, so they made sure that the buying process would be easy for you. All that you have to do is choose from one of the three answers below for each question. When finished, we will tell you if the Datagrip™ is a good fit for you.

  1. I watch videos and I use Facetime to chat with friends and family.
  2. I don’t watch videos nor do I use Facetime, but I don’t want to give up features on my device.
  3. I never want to, or plan on, accessing any type of video on my iPad or Tablet. Nor do I care if I give up a feature on my device.
  1. I access the web and I use the keyboard on my device.
  2. I don’t access the keyboard or internet feature of my device, but I don’t want to give up any feature on my device.
  3. I never want to, or plan on, accessing the web or using the keyboard on my iPad or Tablet. Nor do I care if I give up these features on my device.
  1. I could never decide between landscape or portrait mode.
  2. I tend to use portrait over landscape out of habit; however, I would never want to choose. Choosing to loose portrait or landscape seems terrible! Why would someone do that?
  3. I never want to, or plan on, using either landscape or portrait modes. I plan to choose one or the other and always stick with that. I don’t mind giving up these features on my device.
  1. I have a case and a screen protector.
  2. I don’t have a case and I’m not a big fan of using cases but I don’t want to give up features of my device.
  3. I never want to use a case or any form of device protector for my device. Nor do I care if I give up a feature on my device.
  1. I like being able to take my tablet with me.
  2. I don’t plan on carrying my device around with me. However, I don’t want to give up features on my device.
  3. I never want to, or plan on, using my device away from my desk. Nor do I care if I give up a feature on my device.

We feel having to choose between features like portrait or landscape and watching videos or not, simply won’t suffice. Let’s be realistic here, choosing one over the other seems crazy, but customers make that sacrifice every day when they purchase a portable iPad or tablet holder that isn’t all that portable or flexible to their needs.

One of the most important characteristics of an iPad stand is whether it’s made to stay on your desk or to be carried with you. Because the Datagrip™ features our vast compatibility technology making it easy to use on the go or at your desk, you no longer need to make that ultimate decision.

Challenges Faced During the Buying Process

Most of the portable device stands and device grips on the market require you to choose between certain features available on your device. Based on the year, make, and model of the iPad or tablet, in addition to the features you are willing to give up, ultimately ends up being the deciding factor when buying a portable iPad or tablet stand. In other words, using all the features included in your device, is simply not an option. How does this buying process seem fair?

Let’s face it, when we get a new gadget most of us are not really sure what features are even available, so how do we choose what we are willing to sacrifice when we don’t know what capabilities our device even has?

Also, not every consumer reads the owner’s manual from cover-to-cover about the product they’re purchasing to help choose what feature they’d be willing to give up. Rather than ask “what are you willing to give up?” the real question should be, “why do you have to sacrifice any features in the first place?”

The reality is that you shouldn’t have to choose.
